Dates and times for this summer's skateboard camps at Lakewood Skatepark.

Lakewood Skateboard Camp

Limited Space!

Learn to skateboard and meet new friends at Lakewood Skatepark! New skaters learn to stand, push, turn and start and stop safely as well as how to fall with minimal impact. Returning skaters are challenged to try new things and set examples for new skaters. Each skater progresses at their own rate in small groups across mostly ages 7-13 years old. All ages over 7 years are welcome!

Weekdays for 1 hour per day starting at either 9:15 am or 10:30 am

Session 1 - June 8th - June 12th

• Skate Camp Session 1A: June 8th - June 12th 9:15 am - 10:15am
• Skate Camp Session 1B: June 8th - June 12th 10:30 am - 11:30am

Session 2 - June 22nd - June 26th

• Skate Camp Session 2A: June 22nd - June 26th 9:15 am - 10:15am
• Skate Camp Session 2B: June 22nd - June 26th 10:30 am - 11:30am

Session 3 - July 20th - July 24th

• Skate Camp Session 3A: July 20th - July 24th 9:15 am - 10:15am
• Skate Camp Session 3B: July 20th - July 24th 10:30 am - 11:30am

Session 4 - Aug 3rd - Aug 7th

• Skate Camp Session 4A: Aug 3rd - Aug 7th 9:15 am - 10:15am
• Skate Camp Session 4B: Aug 3rd - Aug 7th 10:30 am - 11:30am

Rates:

• $105 Skate Camp Only (bring your own skateboard)
• $195 Camp with Skateboard (proper skateboard included!)

Requirements:

• Skateboard/bmx style helmet that covers the back of the skater’s head (not a cycling helmet).
• Skateboard should roll and turn easily. Good bearings and quality trucks will make learning much easier. Sign up for “Camp with Skateboard” and receive a brand new skateboard to keep!
